CO₂ Extraction
Pilot-Scale CO₂ Extraction Systems
Single and parallel supercritical CO₂ systems with instrument-grade control for process development, scale-up, and early production.

Single system
Precision in a Small Footprint
A compact extractor on casters, with a touchscreen, automated pressure regulators and heat exchangers, and three separators that collect three fractions from one run. Our own CO₂ pump is powerful, smooth and quiet, with near-pulseless flow.
Up to about 65 lb of biomass a day.

Parallel system
More Than Double the Capacity
The parallel system runs extraction vessels side by side, for up to about 150 lb of biomass a day without losing the stability and efficiency of the single system.

Why the Controls and Configuration Matter
Refine during extraction
Three fractions and in-line dewaxing mean the oil often needs no further processing.
Repeatable methods
Automation and stable run conditions make methods easy to perfect and repeat.
A smaller facility
Fewer pieces of equipment, a smaller footprint and a smaller team for the same throughput.
From Bench to Pilot Scale
Methods developed on our benchtop system carry over to the pilot systems, because the control is the same. To see the extract before you choose equipment, send us your botanical and we run it on our own pilot systems.
