CO₂ Extraction

Supercritical CO₂ extraction systems, method development, in-line dewaxing, and engineering support—from laboratory testing to commercial production.

Why We Work With CO₂

Supercritical CO₂ changes density as pressure and temperature change, so the same solvent can be tuned to target different compounds. It is non-flammable and leaves no solvent in the extract.

Our CO₂ work is led by engineer Jeremy Diehl, who has designed supercritical CO₂ systems since 2004. The systems are built around automated control of pressure, flow and temperature, so a method that works once can be repeated.
