Our oil starts with the people who clear the land and bring us the wood.
We buy our Texas cedar direct from about fifty independent landowners and haulers in the Hill Country, within about 60 miles of Leakey. We buy from them directly, and we pay on delivery.
Our Virginia cedar comes from further afield, about 200 miles east of Leakey, from five to ten independent contractors.
Why it matters to a formulator
Buying directly gives us longstanding relationships with the people who supply our wood. It is part of how we answer your origin questionnaires and send statements of origin on request.
Neighbors
Most of our team lives here in Real County, many for years. We support local causes the way neighbors do.
